Katerndahl, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Article from the Annals of Family Medicine describing a study of 353 patients at 2 primary care clinics. The study used the Biopsychosociospiritual Inventory (BioPSSI) and measures of life satisfaction and health care use to determine whether spiritual symptoms were related to health outcomes. The author concluded that "this study has shown the relevance of spiritual symptoms and their interactions to understanding health outcomes."
