Religion, Spirituality, and Health Status in Geriatric OutpatientsPrimary Author: Timothy P. Daaleman, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Study published in the Annals of Family Medicine, looking at the interaction of religion and spirituality with self-reported health status in a geriatric population. They authors found that "Geriatric outpatients who report greater spirituality, but not greater religiosity, are more likely to appraise their health as good."
